In the last month i've been working a lot on my swing, and here's how it look now. I'm pretty pleased with the consistensy and how the feel is now. I've been seeing som great results in my game, now i'm just enjoying every time i'm out on the course. What do you think about my swing?

There's no transition from the backswing to downswing, you're a little quick once you get to that top. Try to get a little half second or second pause at the top of your backswing then fire through on your downswing.

Good athletic move. Looks very upright. Also looks like your spine angle isn't the straightest. I would suggest working on your setup and that alone will greatly improve your swing. That is what I'm doing! I have a different thread about what I'm trying to do.

For some reason that swing screams Geoff Ogilvy, very similar at the top of the swing, very nice hips at impact also with good flexion of the right knee at impact.

If I was going to suggest anything at all it would be simply to work on rhythm, keeping the swing nice and smooth.

Since your happy with it then I guess there is no reason to change it, but since you asked what people think about it - here is what I think:

You might benefit from setup adjustments. At setup your hips are set low, and your upper body has very little tilt. That gets your hands set high at address, and the club shaft then points up toward your armpits. That setup position presets your arms and body so that the club swings away low and inside the original shaft angle line. That inside takeaway leads to your hands, arms, and club swinging deep behind your body as well as promotes your shoulders to tilt and your head to drop. Those backswing movements lead your left arm on to a flat plane at the top. As you swing down your lower body is over active (I suspect sliding laterally, but a face on view would be necessary to confirm). Your arms get stuck behind the body (due to the flat top of swing position and over active lower body motion). Finally at impact your shaft arrives on a steep angle, and your back foot has completely risen up on to the toe. The setup and swing positions are likely causing you a large loss of power, accuracy (as in direction), and consistency. My recommendation if you decide to alter your setup and/or swing would be to tilt more from the hips at address (to get you setup and swinging on a more efficent plane), and quiet your lower body activity on the downswing (which should lead to a sounder impact position). Below are screen captures of your setup/swing compared to Steve Elkington, so that you can see how you differ from a powerful and efficent setup/swing.

It nice to be young and flexible. You have a beautiful swing I wish I had. Can you hit a ball as well if you slow down the take away and simple uncoil the follow through?

Everything looks fast like Nicks Prices swing. Hows your golf swing hold up under pressure?

Hows your up and down percentage from within 50 yards and in?
Putts per round?
Can you should consistenly day in and day out?

Keep up the hard work! You have a great swing at such an young age!

Maybe work your swing tempo.

    • Went to a PING fitting day today. Going to be ordering a G430 Max 3w with a 75g x-stiff shaft at 5w length and a 3h. I forget what my fitter did with the shaft on that but she told me she’s going to email the club the specs of everything. The 3w combination we found pretty quickly. As for the hybrid, we tried a bunch of different head and shaft combinations for that distance with mixed results. Then she handed me the 3h and I took three swings with it and knew it was the one.
    • Yeah, this isn't sandbagging. It's outright cheating. He should be banned.
    • That’s quite a generalization. It’s clear that you don’t like water but there are plenty of us that drink it just fine. My daily intake is usually about 20oz of black coffee, 16oz of soda, 8oz of milk mixed into a protein shake, and anywhere between 30-60oz of water. It doesn’t even need to be cold and I kind of prefer it closer to room temperature than cold. I quite like the taste of tap water, with sole exception being the tap water at Magic Kingdom (it’s terrible). I can’t stand when people bring me tap water with a lemon wedge in it. I didn’t ask for lemon in my water.
    • This is the part I don’t get. He’s not even kind of sandbagging, he’s blatantly doing it and submitting scores that are verified to be incorrect. How he’s not banned from competition is beyond me.
    • He's right in what he's saying.I also have done this experiment with a golf shaft swinging with one arm at a time.one arm at a time is for me very fast but both hands together are very slow ..I got my 17 year old son to do this experiment and he swung very fast with either hand and he swung very fast with both hands together..My conclusion up to now is ; I'm not using my wrists properly but I not a 100 percent sure just yet..I will keep trying to fathom this out .I'm a 12 handicap and my son is 3.9 at Westlancs..
