Pending an OK from Griffey cause he's a 10 and 5 player, he'll be wearing black and white tonight! Hopefully he stays healthy enough and can produce for the White Sox World Series run.

I'm saddened by the news seeing as I'm a Reds fan but happy for him. Hopefully the White Sox fans will be a little nicer to him than most of the jackasses in Cincy were. I just hope that Cincy gets something good but from the looks of it, they will only get cash.

In my Pro-Walker stand bag:

Driver: Founders Club "The Judge" Graphite shaft (benched for bad play)
3-wood: 15* steel shaft
5 & 7-wood: Velocitized BBT Oversized Graphite Shaft Medium Flex 21* & 25*3-iron: Wilson Sam Snead Blue Ridge (benched for bad play)4-SW: Maker's Pride irons steel shaftsP...

They got two prospects: pitcher Nick Masset and second baseman Danny Richar. Richar was one of our top picks a few years ago, and Masset has pretty decent stuff, but probably needs a few more years to put it together. Not a bad trade for them at all.

That's good. Hopefully it will work out for both teams.

What do the sox do with jr? Center field and put Swisher on 1st?

Drive for show, putt for dough

Center and platoon Swisher and Konerko at first base. Ozzie was saying he wants to sit Konerko for 4-6 games to give him a mental break. Also keep in mind that Griffey won't play every day most likely, so he'll probably split time with Anderson and Wise in center, or potentially DH to give Thome rest.

Edit: He also could be used as a very potent left-handed bat in pinch-hit situations, and as a defensive replacement for Dye / Quentin in later innings.

I hope he won't be playing to much center field. On ESPN radio this morning, they said the TV announcers for the Reds were ripping on him for not being able to cover right field.

Always been a closet Griffey fan. I wanna see him in a jersey that resembles the Yankee pinstripes!
