This Whole month i've shot down my handicap from a 15.2 to now my current 12.9. I don't understand where this sudden break through has rose from my play has gotten so much more consistant, and my approach has gotten to a brand new best! I feel like im finally seeing my true potential to golf, and with a few new things added to my game (tips from others, practicing swing in the backyard etc.) i've really took my game to a new level just in this month.

What im getting to is, are any of you going through this? Or have you ever had this? Was it all of your clubs that became suddenly more consistant or just a few?

I wouldn't say I'm getting a major breakthrough like you are.. but I'm having a mini-breakthrough on my approach. My iron play is getting so much better.

As for my scoring breakthrough and better play. I'm still waiting for it to just "click" one day and play alot better than I ever have.

Congrats it's a nice feeling. A little over a month ago I was about a 14 handicap or so now I'm down to a 9.9, but it'll go back up a bit I'm sure.

To be honest I've been crusing around 7 and 8 for a while now. I've been trying to bring it down to 5, but I just keep messing up good rounds that I have going by missing clutch putts. Hopefully this will change with my new Tracy, but until then I'm still at 7.3.

Well done Lange, Ive had a simular month.I think ,well I know its all down to confidence. One thing set me off, after months of stagnation on 24 I was playing in our societies "Major" of the year and managed to win the nearest the pin.(my first trophy)The rest of the round was full of birdies and pars and I took the big prize as well.

The following weeks have seen me break 90,my first Eagle and another couple of minor victories, even beat a 12 handicapper in a matchplay (no handicaps)

I put it all down to being relaxed and confident, that one shot on a par 3 was the boost I had needed.
