My wife has a business trip to Asheville, NC in October, and I'm tagging along to play some golf. I'll be golfing both Sat/Sun October 18th and 19th. If anyone wants to join me, let me know; I'd love the company. I've been playing about a year, and can shoot anywhere from 90 to 110, depending on the course and my mood that day...

Anyone have any course suggestions? We'll be staying at the Grove Park Inn, and their course looks pretty nice. Doesn't look like they have much in the way of practice facilities; disappointing.

Some other close courses that look good are:

Reem's Creek
High Vista CC
Cummings Cove
Springdale CC

Any and all opinions appreciated...

We'll only have one car, and I'll want to get back in time to eat dinner with my wife, so I'm not looking to drive much more than 30-45 minutes from Asheville. Unless someone wants to invite me to play one of the Cliffs courses!

Reems creek is a nice course great elevation changes and views but tricky to find.

Grove park is a very nice classic donald ross course but very pricey
