The guy is just a flat-out baller. He comes to play every single down. He blocks, he can fly and he's a great receiver. Yes, he's said some stupid things like calling into question Jeff Garcia's masculinity. What he said about McNabb was flat out true. He was slow and could not get anything done in that final SB drive and it cost his team. Even Philly fans admit this calling him "Donovan McSnac."

That said, today's quote by T.O. is flat out awesome. Calling out Meshawn Johnson was fantastic. Being called out by a selfish, petulant player who was jealous of his teammates and always did not play hard is going to result in these types of quotes.

Some players say they never read the newspapers or listen to television analysts, but Dallas receiver Terrell Owens obviously isn't one of them. Owens caught some flak from ESPN's Tom Jackson, Keyshawn Johnson, and Cris Carter for his comments following the Cowboys' loss to the Redskins last Sunday, and it was Johnson in particular whom Owens set his sights on. "He is the ultimate underachiever on that panel," Owens told reporters in Dallas before reminding them that he's the reason Johnson is no longer playing in the NFL. "Everybody is aware when I was brought to Dallas he was the one they let go to get me here."

BTW, those comments were about where Romo was throwing him the ball. He was not asking for more touches or angered about his role in the offense. These guys forget how T.O. defended Romo to the point that it drove him to tears.

I'm surprised noone ever came up with a Pull-String cry baby doll of T.O. (Remember Cordell Stewart?).

In any case, there's no denying his talent as an athlete, but sometimes I feel like he needs to keep his mouth shut. Although what he sometimes says is founded in one way or another, it often leads to unnecessary attention and finger pointing. Like the old saying goes - If you don't have anything nice to say, it's often wise to not say anything at all.

wow had I not know any better I would have thought you were speaking about Hines Ward...now that's a baller...

TO is a insecure little boy in a mans body....dating all the way back to his days in SF.....how can you take this clown (and yes he is a freakin clown) serious? I mean he does his workout in his freakin driveway yrs ago after the Eagles release him, then after the Cowboys lost he gets on TV crying "That's my QB.....that's not fair"...bluh bluh.... he should do us all a huge favor and keep his mouth shut imo, the world (more so the NFL) would be better off if he did so.....

I love TO too and loved him on SF (I'm a HUGE 9er fan...unfortunately) and the best EVER was his 1st year with the Eagles. That was the best QB/WR combo I've seen with McNabb and Owens as far as highlights. That was the year too that the NFL allowed players to do their enzone celebrations and TOs one of the best.

I do have to admit he has very "hard hands." LOL. He must be ready for Halloween because "he loves 'em butterfingers." e

one of the best YAC receivers in the pros. seems like he has his best games after he goes a couple of games without a lot of touches and realizes that he's not the center of the offense.

    • Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.
    • Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
    • Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
    • Day 281 6-10 Full swing, fast, getting low point ahead of "towel".  Working on flow during this seems to help.
