Bought mine last year half way through the season. After a long and tedious search they wound up being the best fit for me (MP67's were a close second). Did you get the blades, CB, pocket cavity, or combo set? The only complaint I have is purely cosmetic….I hate the "blue" they put on the club. The J33's have much cleaner, more traditional look. Good irons from a underrated club manufacture.

They are the cavity backs, rifle projectx 5.5 shafts, I already have TM Burner Woods and a Tour burner driver, Volkey SW and Cleveland 588 lob wedge. I like the feel of forged clubs on a Bridgestone ball.

Sweet irons....my buddy that played with today games them.

They sound great and look good at address. He says he is very pleased with his set.

He has the forged cavity model with the Rocket shafts.

My club pro just received demo sets of J36 Pocket Cavity, Blades, and CB each with 5.5 PX shafts earlier this week, and they definitely pass the look test. I am looking forward to hitting each soon. My existing irons are from 2003, so I'm due. I usually go new every five years or so and I really like the looks of these and hope they play as well.

I play the J33 forged CBs and just cannot bring myself to change. Solid shots feel so good and there is plenty of feedback on every shot. They look so natural setting up. However, mine are getting pretty scared up and the grooves have some wear... so new clubs are likely in the spring, and the J36s are the front runners. I talked to a Bridgestone guy and he said the changes are relatively small if switching to the J36s, with mostly a little grinding work on the sole. Mizuno - Bridgestone, Bridgestone - Mizuno... it is a challenge, but I've hit the 52s, and am leaning to the J36s. Can't really give a reason why... loyalty and looks perhaps. I wish the new Titliests comparables did not have the z-lightening bolt look -- they may be better but my eye is too traditional to like the look.

The good news is there are so many good clubs now that making a bad choice is unlikely. Matching the shafts to your swing is likely more important.

I had the J33 Cavity Backs, just switched to Miz MP57's. Rifle px6.0. I didn't want to switch, but I am OCD on cleaning my irons. I would soak them in hot water. The shafts started to rust at the hosle. Lost a head right on the driving range. I liked the MP57's better than the J36, but not by much. I play the B-330S, Bridgestone is truely the most under-rated equipment manufacture, IMO.
