50 years old and leading the Transitions Championship! This is his first 54 lead in 4 years, so I say "congratualtions" to the hard worker from Minnesota! He finished second to Tiger 4 years ago, and has not won in 9years. Would it not be amazing if he closes well and wins?

Id like to see him win also. Ive always had a lot of respect for him for his honor, integrity and respect for others.
He embodies a lot of the virtues that this game teaches and is a wonderful ambassador for golf.

Playing golf with my daughter this afternoon, but last night when I saw Lehman was in the lead and Stricker was still hanging around, decided to set the DVR to tape the coverage so I can watch it this evening. Tiger doesn't have to be in the field for it to be compelling.

I watched him from up close 3 or 4 years ago warming up on the range at the Buick (Torrey Pines). He lined up a bunch of balls, about 6 of them, and hit one after the other with a mid or long iron. Each ball was cleanly struck and had a lovely trajectory, and his divots were amazing: almost identical in shape and position, all starting just beyond the ball of course. Awesome to me at the time.

Go Tom!

+4 today; too bad. He was classy throughout though. I was really pulling for him on 18 to sink the putt and get a T7, which would have given him enough money to get to a major medical exemption for the rest of the year. What a game; 1 shot made a huge difference in his status on tour for the rest of the season.

He's a class act and a credit to the game. Goosen had me worried at the close though, remembering how he lost it late the last time he was in the running on Sunday. Miller put Goosen's career in rather good perspective I thought, at least that's how I see it as well. Burst on the scene with a couple of wins and then went cold for years, yet clearly he's a very talented player. Interesting to hear the guy talk about the effects family life can have on one's game. At any rate I was happy to see him win again on the tour - it's all good.

It would have been nice to see Lehman win, but seeing retief win isn't all that bad. He has struggled lately and its his first win since 2005.

Is that not hard to believe---no wins from 2005 until this one?

Anyone notice how many practice swings he takes on iron shots?

ZERO. He knows and trusts his swing.

I love that!
