I got fitted for a hybrid awhile back and the swing analyst told me that i had over active hands in my take away. He told me not to bother changing it because my ball striking was fine the majority of the time, but it led to an occasional snap-hook. I'm honestly not sure what having over-active hands mean. Could somebody explain this to me, why it causes snap hooks, and of any drills to correct this?

i think of the beginning of the take away similar to the take away of a putt... i could be totally wrong but it works for me.
