Has anyone played with both or either of these balls? What were the results? Which had better distance, spin, durability, feel? Any info would be greatly appreciated. FWIW, the Nike's are about 5 bucks more per dozen. If you don't like either of these, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I can provide any information you need about my game if you think it is needed to decide which would be better for me.

I have been using the TM burner TP balls for my last few rounds. So far I really like them. I can't afford to play a ball as expensive as the proV1 at the rate that I lose them. The burner TP's seem like a good mix of feel, performance, and affordability. One of the newer Golf Digest magazines had a comprehensive test of several golf balls in 3 pricing tiers, and the burner TP balls scored pretty well for their price, (as did the Nike One Tour's).

I'd second both the bridgestone B330, great ball, soft lika v and long like a vx...but about those taylormade TP Red LDP's for 27 bucks at dicks...they're a better ball than the burners...and they're 54 bucks for 2 dozen? better buy than either the burner or one for $60 bucks...imo

It's been a while since I used a Nike One so I won't comment. But I fell in love with The TP-Red, it does wonder for my drive and can still spin on the green. The Bridgestone RX is a very good ball but feels "buttery" to me with irons shots.

Thanks for the input, although you seem to be alone in this opinion. Have you also hit with the nikes?

Unfortunately, I have a gift card to dicks and they don't sell those there. I've heard lots of good things about them though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, the Nike One Tour and Nike One Tour D are on sale at $60 for two dozen at a few retailers...

Yep, they have the same deal at Dick's which is why I was curious about them. It seems like a good deal.

While you mentioned it though, I haven't ever played with nice balls (I always use balls people left on the course ) so what is the difference between the One Tour and the One Tour D?

Thanks for your opinion between the two, thats what it seems everyone is saying. By any chance could you link me to an example of the Bridgestones? I'm not exactly sure which ones you are talking about and I don't want to buy the wrong ones haha.

Are the nikes not worth 6 dollars more for 2 dozen? (60 dollars for 2 dozen at dicks). Hopefully I can try them one day though, even though that day isn't today

Even though its been a while, do you still prefer those TM reds to the Nikes if they were the same price?

Thanks everyone for the responses, its been a big help!

nike's aren't worth it in my book period but that's personal preference...found they aren't as soft around the green as TM's...and to be honest i've found nike's longer by minimal gains. it's your call obviously...just sayin

I hear ya. I appreciate your opinion as I'm new to the whole golf ball market. But as I said before, I cant get the TM reds with my gift card so are there any other TMs you would buy before the One Tours?

I've played the TP Red's, 07 Pro V1's, Burner TP's, B-330s's, and the Nike One Tour's. The Nike One's are my favorite ball out of all of the them. Especially around the greens. Wow.

...well if it's limited to what you have on a gift card (didn't realize that was the limitation) then i guess the better of the two would be the nike's since they're a more premium ball, but...as for the guy above me...try the new prov's...might change your "wow" factor on the nike...just MO
