I am considering putting in a bid on ebay. There are two clubs I am interested in, Ping Zing Lob and standard wedges. I am not really sure which one to bid on (if any). I think the Lob wedge is 58 degrees and the pitching wedge 46 degrees. I would imagine that the best option is the Lob but any suggestions would help. I have Ping Eye 2+Copper Beryllium but cannot find a suitable wedge which is why I am looking at the Zings which are copper Beryllium..

Thanks

Brian

They are different clubs so they each will have their advantages, if you don't have a lob wedge yet, I would recommend one, they are awesome once you can hit it the right way.

PW first, then optionally a LOB.

Doesn't your set have a pitching wedge? If not, that's what I would look for. I would find out what loft the Eye 2+ PW has and try to match that.

Fact is, if your set is missing the PW, I'm pretty sure you can contact Ping and get a replacement.

lob wedges are great. when you're around 90 out and need to drop and stop it, theres nothing like making it rain with a 60. i love opening the face and flopping it too. you take that full swing and it just glides and drops dead. the ol flop-a-dopalas

Thanks for all of your answers. I have bought a Ping Tour 58 degree wedge off ebay for £21 which I think is good value. The Ping Eye 2 wedges are quite difficult to get in the UK, especially the Copper Beryllium ones.

I have been hitting my Ping Eye 2 woods and they are just as good as I remember.

Cheers
