If you don`t like/can`t hit Mizuno MX 200`s, the Ping S 57`s probably are not the right club for you. With your swing speed, stiff or X stiff, probably. Try to get fitted, it`s worth the money, and you`ll play better,or have the opportunity to do so. I`m a Bridgestone J 33 man, and love them! But,not for the timid! Good luck!

I hit the S57 blades, I truely love them. I have the project X shafts, which I would recomend if your a divot taker, if your not I would stay away from them. The S 57 are forgiving in comparison to other blades, but very good contact is still required for these. I got mine off Ebay for $350.

I've never hit the MX-200, but them being a cavity back, I would assume they would be more forgiving than the S57

ive played a couple rounds with a set of s58's with stiff shafts... (i normally play regular) and they are surprisingly forgiving. they're not blades.. i honestly consider them a cross between a cavity back and a muscle back.

the s57's look similar to the s58's so i assume they play pretty similar...

i liked how they set up at address, i hate irons with alot of offset, they felt pretty good when i hit it pure and i could definetly tell when i miss-hit the ball...

if i didnt like my hogans so much id definetly consider getting a set of s58/s57's....

I personally wouldnt do it just because I wouldnt want to go from forged irons back to cast. IMO, you would miss having the feel that you get with forgings.

Ping S59 come in TWO versions, the S59 Blade and the S59 Tour, the easiest way to tell one from the other, is very simple: the Tour has ferrules, the Blades do not. NOt sure about the s57 and s58 but the s59 comes in a blade...
