I am a low handicapper but a few times during a round I hit a big hook or a draw that goes from right side of intended target to left side. Usually when I go after a shot too hard.
I found that I was taking the club too inside on backswing, so by taking the club straight back where the left forearm halfway back is parallel to the foot line, this gives me width and I drop inside to out on downswing.
Anyone flipping may want to try this.
