I was on the verge of tears of joy when I found out that Ilya Kovalchuk was going to Jersey. This is just the push we need to get back to where we were ealier this season. I do not think he will be there for long (same idea Pitt had with Hossa) but this gives the team enough confidence to get to the top and adds a top 3 scorer to a team already filled with great players. Go Devilss!!!!!

He's going to end up doing the same thing he did in Atlanata, score goals and complain. He may help you get into the playoffs, but Brodeur is not going to be able to stop the Pens and their high level offense. After being eliminated by Pittsburgh, Kovalchuk will opt for more money and sign with some other team that has the money. Go Pens! Crosby Rules!

So did the Caps last year. Ask them how that worked out for them. Playoff hockey != regular season hockey.
