Hello,
to anyone that has experienced or owned the newly release Titleist 906F2 fairway woods I would like to hear what you think of it good or bad! Also let us know what shaft you have on the Titleist 906F2.

If you have also play with the Titleist 904F, how does the 906F2 compare to the 904F? It is better or worst?

I'm in the market to pick up a 906F2, but would love to hear about what thoughts people have after playing them first.

Thanks alot for any info

If you did some searching, you'd find my thoughts, which will be formalized in a review that's coming up soon.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us buddy.

This guy cracks me UP!!!

You know that 61.40% of the member voted "No way steel is superior" ?

According to you, I guess we're not only not entitled to our opinion, we are ALL wrong too for having one.

Majority doesn't win here, I am beginning to think this forum is run by a Nazi...

C'mon Oct411. You are entitled to your opinion. What does member's voting for steel have to do with this thread? Erik simply suggested you search for information about this club and politely informed you a review was forthcoming at The Sand Trap .com. Lighten up a little.

The point is that I already did share my thoughts - you simply have to search for them. I've already taken the time to write them - I'm not going to do your work and search for 'em too.

I'm simply suggesting you be a good forum member. Lighten up.

Re: Titleist 906F2 thoughts and review?

Ok,

Seeing that I am a normal human (as of now), I didn't get to experience the Titleist 906F2 when it was first introduced on Tour. Now that I have hit some shots around the course with it, here is my short review of how the club felt to me:

Titleist 906F2 w/ ProForce 85 S 13 degree

Previously (for 7 years) I have been hitting the Taylormade Supersteel 15 degree model with a steel shaft. When I first hit this club, I thought I missed the ball. But to my amazement, it flew straight out there 250 or so yards. The club almost feels like hitting a persimmon wood. Its solid, and after getting used to a different feel, I think its going to be just fine. As many of you know it doesn't have that "ting!" of the supersteels or similar clubs, its a "thwack" and I actually prefer that sound now.

The ball flight (much dependent upon the shaft and degree) was perfect for me, producing a penetrating flight that was low-mid trajectory, which is what I prefer. Its smaller than my old 3-wood, so that also takes a little getting used to. I really didn't test its workability yet, the shots I hit were all straight and very accurate. The mid-weight ProForce produces a nice feeling throughout the swing. I like my shaft a little heavier because of all my years on steel, and the swingweight feels very close to that of my older 3-wood, which I also look into.

If y'all have any questions, post up, but that is a general overview of how I think the club is.

And B.T.W., the club looks beautiful! Even the bottom is beautiful, its a bold statement, but one that looks awesome and is functionally practical if that makes sense.

Thank ya guys and hit 'em good.
