Anyone using the above driver? I have had mine for about 14 months now and to begin with got on well with it, and still do really. My swing has changed quite a bit since being fitted for it, when I bought it my launch angle was very low. With my improved swing I think the Dcomp is maybe too forgiving??? what I mean is I cannot for the life of me draw it, power fade very reliable but that fade spin eats up the roll on landing.

So my question is, does anyone who has one draw it? or does it correct everything into a fade?

I have the 909Dcomp but a 9.5 loft and the xcon6 shaft. I have been using mine for about a year and am really happy with mine. Not sure if it's the configuration or not but I can draw the ball fairly easy although my stock shot is a high fade. I have been working with some elements of the S&T; swing this year and I find that by really attacking from the inside I can draw fairly easily with the Dcomp.

What I would suggest is if you can get your hands on a 909 D2 or better yet a D3 with a similar configuration and try that out and see what the difference is. I know this is an rather obvious answer but it's what I would try. I have hit both the D2 and D3 and they are easier to fade or draw at will but what I like best about the Dcomp is I can pretty much step on the gas with this club and hit it as hard as I want and get a pretty good result from a mis-hit and a GREAT result from one that is flushed.
