What are the factors or condition where a golfer should consider purchasing a Swing aid? I have bought a putting aid but it make me feel more confused.

If you can identify a particular fault in your game that you want to work on, then you can find a aid that helps you correct it. I think if you just go out and buy an aid thinking it will be a miracle elixer then you might have a tendacy to get lost. For example, i know i struggle with overswinging. So i came across the swing extender aid and practicing with it over the last week or so has really given me the feeling of shortening my backswing.

In my opinion, if you can pinpoint your problem, the range is a great aid. You need to work on correcting your swing, not an aid.

Swing aids help correct improper swing mechanics. Even once pinpointed, some moves are much easier to build into muscle memory with swing aids.

I am currently working with an impact bag, which i like quite a bit. I've also used a weighted club (medicus) over the years. Depending upon the mechanics the OP wishes to address, I've heard very good things about the swingyde and the swing extender.
