I took my nephew to the demo day and let him hit all the new drivers and irons he could get his hands on. We really had a blast except for the heat. Again about 95 degrees at 11 in the morning. He really liked the Adams Speedline 9.5 with Matrix Osix shaft. I told him to save his money and he would have it soon.
They had a launch meter to check swing speed set up at the Cleveland booth. Before we hit I told him I thought I would have about a 85 to 90 swing speed. Last year when I first started I had a 78. I talso told him I thought he would have around 95 or so. Well he averaged 104!! Sweet. That was a nice hard swing but not all he had. I had a 92 and was very happy. I liked the Taylormade R9 superfast.

Anyway we had a good time and the hotdogs wern't bad either.

Just wanted to share.

Yes, it is his. I haven't got to play it yet. It's been closed and will reopen in Sept. But from the looks, it's tough.

correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it pretty resonable to play if you live in TN? I thought I read its going to have a pretty high green' fee (over $100) but had a discounted rate for TN residents.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

I think it was $75 last year. They changed a couple of holes this year to make them easier plus they had part of it flood from the spring rain.
Just as a side note. The Adams rep was a super nice guy. He worked with my nephew for awhile on his swing.
