Fellow golfers, I'm asking for some quick help. I have invented a golf training aid called the Steady-Head. I got a call from a radio station today and they want to interview me and talk about my product. I have sold about 100 of the Steady-Heads and have good reviews, however I would like some additional input on whether or not you think this product has merit as a training aid. Take a look and post some replys for me. I want to know what you think, honestly! Go to www.steadyhead.com and click on the "how it works - picture gallery" tab at the top. Thanks for your help.

Nice....you should invent the steady butt, and you'd be set. (No kidding ... it's something that Michael Breed is always talking about on The Fix). I actually had already seen this product, but I don't recall how ...probably this forum.

You really wan to make money with thing, pitch it to Charles Barkley...it's something he struggles with in a big way, if can do what Hank couldn't, you will set for life!!! (I'm not kidding here!!!)

It looks like a smart product, your price point is very reasonable too. Few things you should do ....patent it if you haven't done so, and get someone to do your website. You need to modernize it, and loose the home-made feel....think of the jack hamm website....You don't want to look like that!!!

Great product!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

I actually love the idea, simple concept, very easy to use. Couldn't you set it closer to the ball and also work on your swing path? One bad out to in swing and you'd crush that pole and probably drive it into your eye.

Nice....you now you have a hole in your eye.....threw away $35 bucks for the aid, and a nice settlement check from the liability law suite filled against Mcman1....

Mcman! Do Not listen to Matt he is an attorney!!!! Talk about ambulance chaser...(just kidding)

mcman1 - I've mentioned this before but you really need a way to adapt this to be used with mats at a driving range. Something that would perhaps mount on the stall wall next to you. My issue with using this on grass would be getting a clean lie every time. At some point, your divots are going to get in the way. If you could add this options, I'd be all over it as the moving head is something I really struggle with.

Good luck

Kevin

good poitn and simple fix.....most mats are loose....simply adapt a "C" clamp (spring loaded) so that it "sandwiches" the mat.

McMan....no problem.....Just send me 5% royalties for my idea!
