I can say that I've played night golf now. Don't know that I'll play it again, but..... it was interesting.

I took the advice from a couple of guys here about those "glow-in-the-dark" balls being tough on big head drivers, and used my back up set. Glad I did. There were two guys that busted their drivers wide open that night.

I heard that about the drivers as well but didn't have any issues with mine. There are some guys I play with that have some pretty high swing speed numbers and they didn't have issues either. I have actually never heard of it in my area. That is some really bad luck if two guys in your one outing had those kinds of problems. I probably didn't swing 60% of what I normally do though because I didn't want to lose the ball.

The biggest issues I had was knocking the glow stick out of the ball with my driver. That will kill some ball flight in a hurry!

There were several balls on the course the next morning without glow sticks in them.

I was careful not to lose any balls either. I hated to pay 80.00, lose the balls I had and not get to, at least, finish the round.
