lefty was winning right out of the gate, even before he turned pro (tucson), and i am sure he has some wins left in him. quinney has not done anything notable as a pro. he really looked good early in the back nine today. a few loose swings killed him today. it will be interesting to see if he bounces back from this. if he keeps playing like he did this week he will win.

Phil has squandered some of his talent by being reckless/gambling on the course, and now seems to be hanging his head a bit with lost confidence and regret for missed opportunity.

Quinney is still climbing a learning curve and has no reason to lose any confidence over a few loose swings. He's not the first golfer to not close the deal as a rookie, he'll be back and better for it.

Greg Norman has to be the one who came up short the most, but he also won a lot, so it's no crime to let a win slip away especially when a guy puts a great charge on like Baddley, that get's into the other players head a bit, it's like match play pressure.

Although I would never wish bad to anyone (as I believe that tournaments must be won and not lost), I really believe this is a nice correlation!
