Adjustable drivers and fairway woods, on the cheap?

Hi all, I'm looking for a driver and fairway wood, which I can find used, that is adjustable. More specifically, I'm looking for lie angle adjustability. I'm relatively tall (6'4"), and all of my irons are 3* upright, but my driver and 3 wood are both standard. It's not as much of an issue for the driver, but the fairway wood results in only a small contact area with the ground because the heel is in the air.I was looking at last year's STR-8 fits, but are there any other options that you can think of? Thanks in advance!

Ebay.  You could probably find one on the cheap.

Depends on how "cheap" you are looking for.  I was assume the TaylorMade R9 driver would be your best bet to start looking because they are the first adjustable drivers that were on the market.

Adjustable drivers only open/close the club-face and change the face angle and loft........

My 2 cents......go to a nice pro-shop where you'll find knowledgeable staff.  I'm sure you can special order a 3-wood with an upright lie angle?  Please let us know what you find out.....

Lie angle is DIFFERENT...........Driver and 3-woods like the R11 adjust face angle and loft..........

Guys and Gals, Lie angle is a completely different spec.......

Actually, Titleist's 910 series, Nike's STR8-Fit, and Srixon's STAR Fit all adjust lie angle as well. I think the Nike line is going to be the most affordable from what I can find on ebay. I just thought you guys might have known of another, maybe lesser known, model line that I was overlooking. Thanks.

Brand new VR Pro STR8-FITs can be had on eBay for pretty good prices from reputable sellers.  I just bought a new VR Pro driver (2011 model) for $140.

Always changing:

 

Driver: Cobra S2/Nike VR Pro 10.5º

Irons: Callaway X-20 Tour 4-9i

Hybrid: Titleist 910H 19º & 21º

Wood: TaylorMade R11 3w

Putter: Odyssey White Hot

Wedges: Titleist Vokeys - 48º, 54º, 62º

 

First round: February 2011

I just recently bought a Nike Vr Pro STR-8FIT driver on ebay for less than 140 bucks and it works pretty well you just got to go out there and make sure you buy the driver the a good seller.

I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron.
