What are the best ways to clean a golf bag? I'm not talking about mud or dust, but the thing just smells. You know, that post-golf FUNK. It's that same smell in your clothes... rain gear... etc. I've played a handful of rounds in the rain lately as well, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I've read water + vinegar... or, water + oxi clean? What's the best way of getting INSIDE the bag (walking bag)? Is it best to just air dry? Just want the dang thing to smell better, lol

Spraying it with Febreeze might work.    My wife uses it to keep pet odor controlled in the house and it seems to work well, and I've also found it effective at controlling bilge odor in our boat.     I'd suggest pulling the clubs out and spray it liberally inside the bag, plus spritz all the exterior.    Pretty easy to use and effective.

Febreeze is excellent stuff and would be the easiest solution.

Another one would be bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) - Sprinkle it onto the bag and let it sit for half an hour or so, then vacuum it.

Baking soda is excellent for loads of stuff golf-related actually, both odours and actual cleaning when combined with water.
