Well,

I know not many people get excited about Spring Training anymore, however, when pitchers and catchers report it means my seasonal affective disorder is about to end.  I keep telling my wife living in the US Virgin Islands wouldn't be so bad but she is paranoid of melanoma.

Anyway, we'll see if anyone can challenge the Yankees-Red Sox-Rangers-Phillies-San Francisco-Atlanta conglomerate. (sp)  I have been an A's fan for years, find Moneyball to poignant, and get worn out of Oakland being a farm team for the "bigger clubs".

So, if you love the smell of freshly cut grass, the crack of a wooden bat, and seeing how long it will take the Yankees to trade for Tulowitzki, then welcome to Spring Training 2012.
