I've been Playing Golf for: 35 years (a lot as a teenager, but not much since 2006)

My current handicap index or average score is: 83

My typical ball flight is: Draw, but I hit my share of push slices and pull hooks as well as some small fades

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Pull/Hook, Push/Slice, Fat shot & skull with wedges

Just curious...do you always start your swing with picking it up like that at the beginning or is that just the way you practice?

I took some lessons about 7 years ago at the Jim Mclean school in Florida and my instructor there had me start doing that as I was not getting much wrist cock on the way back and the club was getting ahead of my hands on the way down (flipping/negative shaft lean at impact).  The plan was to eventually get rid of the pause and make it more of a continuous motion, but I started playing less and got comfortable with the move so I haven`t taken it out yet.

    • I wanna know how I even came across Prime Tiger in the first place. Does time travel exist? Can I tell him about what happens to him a la Marty Doc in Back to the Future? I'll take the shot at $100m. If I fail, 72 holes with Prime Tiger on a sick course somewhere sounds worth $1m to me.   "Dear Tiger, at 1:30am on the night I go back you will be shot by terrorists. Just kidding, but no seriously though, your body is an absolute mess by the time you're 40. You have severe back pain starting in 2014, a career ending car accident in 2021 at Riviera (dude, learn how to drive), and uhhh let's just say you might wanna pump the breaks on those "extracurricular activities" you enjoy so much (I know, bro).  Also, remember what I told you about AimPoint and the ball flight laws. Your friend in time, Jetfan1983."
    • The best not so judgmental take I read on it from some exec was that they treated the visits like college recruiting trips rather than job interviews. His brother hired an agent after seeing how bad the NFL's response to their dad's take on the process was. In the end he probably won't become a starter just because he's not the ridiculous generational athlete his dad was, just better than everyone we know But his bro's response seems like a decent sign that he might take it the right way, realize his coddled you're the permanent golden child attitude isn't going to get him where he wants to go in the NFL, and start the grind 🤷‍♂️ Given that the NFL concensus, rather than the ESPN one, is that he's a good but not great prospect, probably has a backup ceiling anyway. But it would be a cool story if he took this all the right way and found himself a Geno Smith route to eventually becoming a top half starter in the NFL!
    • Yea that was bad for sure. Red flags abound with that guy. I thought he sounded super defeated in all his interviews when he finally got drafted too, which could be good or bad, I dunno. He's probably simply not good enough. Has some nice throws, but there's a lot of ehhhh in this tape too.  But yea, throw in rough interviews, the bad mindset. Makes sense he fell as far as he did.
    • I have this working.  I'm using python and c#, and it's all displayed on a website I created.  Sorry for the delay, I haven't been on this site in quite a while.  This site helped a lot:   https://app.swaggerhub.com/apis-docs/GHIN/Admin/1.0#/Club APIs/ I've done a bunch of work on this to get it working.  If any of you would like I can probably dump the information you need into a website.  I just need either GHIN ID's or a Club ID.
    • 72 holes, not 18 holes.    Edit - the original question was 72 holes, but Stagner apparently said in one round - I find it hard to believe that a 10 handicap would beat Tiger on one hole out of 18, 12% of the time. That's 40% of the time over four rounds. Surprisingly high. I wonder if the 12% is for four rounds - that would sit more closely with my "hmm" factor.
