I'm new to the forum and a beginner golfer and I was given a full set of Adams A3OS clubs. After doing some research, it looks like this is a good brand name and model of golf clubs. I'd rather spend more time with learning and playing, but I also like to keep up with the latest and greatest. Are these clubs good to the point that I shouldn't even care about what's out there for a while? Thanx for the info.

Adams was originally known for making high quality beginners sets, and lately they've branched out into making clubs for the mid and low handicappers as well. I'm a big fan of Adams and have coached several family & friends into buying them as they've picked up the game. Not one negative complaint, everyone has been very happy with them.

That being said and to answer your question... IMO you should be all set for a while! Good luck with your game!

I bought a set for my son..his 1st set of clubs. I played with them and find they are very good. I think you'll do well with them and won't need anything else for quite some time.

Spend your effort working on your swing.

I have the A2OS (one model older than the A3) and they are a good quality, easy to hit club for beginners. I would imagine the A3s are similar.

The A3OS set is great. The hybrid technology in the long irons was ahead of its time, so no need for something newer. I still have Adams A2OS 3H-7iron in my bag and don't feel the need to upgrade.
