Anyone ever use these in there bag? I'm trying to see how you install the locks onto the tubes. Anyone have any idea how to do that?

I haven't, and I think you should expect to wait a little more than 45 minutes or so for a response. Not many people use these... that should give you some idea of their practicality right there.

No, I don't use them. I rarely (maybe once or twice a year & I play 100+ rounds per year) see them.

I have no idea in the world how to lock them. Don't they come with directions?

you would think they would, huh? oh well. i guess that's what happens when you are a beginner golfer that doesn't no better. still, if anyone can help, let me know.

I recommend you deep six the tubes & tube locks.

As iacas said:

Is there some particular reason you think these tubes/locks are a good idea? Maybe I'm missing something . . .

Just say no to tubes. Never understood the point of them and you need a big ass bag to fit them.

Back in the day (and I mean a long time ago) I used them. There were no divider bags back then you were lucky if you got two "dividers" in your bag and it was basically just two covered rods across the top of your bag. These tubes were the original "full length dividers".

They interlocked with little plastic pieces with two holes in them so that you slid two tubes into the holes and up to the tops of the tubes. Then you could interlock more tubes by doing the same thing from tube to tube. The place I bought mine sold tubes and connector pieces so you would buy as many of each as you needed.

They worked OK but after a while the plastic tubes would start to bend and the clubs would bind on the tubes. They were cheap, that was about their only redeeming feature.

The full-length divider bags of today are a real step forward, that's for sure.
