Has there ever been a player with a slower tempo than Ai Miyazato?

For those not familiar with her:

I know quite a few of the ladies have a relatively slow tempo but Ai's is something else!

Got me wondering if there is any slower out there?  Past or present.

Also, does anybody know her distances by club?  I couldn't find an 'in the bag' for her.

Not sure the exact distances, but ever time I watch her on television she's the shortest hitter in her group. She struggles in the rain (less roll out) using hybrids and fairway woods where other players are hitting short irons.

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

Thanks.  Yeah, me too.  But that'll be her average distance from the tee and she won't always have hit driver.

Although she is still very smooth on the downswing - after her superslow backswing - she does 'fire' her lower body quite strongly so she probably gets decent clubhead speed through impact.  Her lack of length relative to some of the other girls will partly be a function of her diminutive stature - she's 5'2".

Lets also not forget that shes tiny.  If shes over 5' tall it isnt by much and that makes it difficult for her to be a long-hitter.  She definetly makes up for her lack of length in how straight she hits the ball and how many fairways/greens she hits.  Her putting isnt too shabby either.

In terms of balance she is one of the best too.  I dont know of ANY golfers (men or women) who warmup by hitting shots while standing on balance balls:

I saw a guy when I was at the driving range using these two balance balls hitting in the stall behind me. It turns out he was a professional who is just trying to make a tour. Judging by the way he was hitting the ball, he was definitely a professional. I didn't catch his name or anything, but I did think it was interesting to see someone warm up hitting while on a balance ball.

She was number one because she'd a great player and an incredible putter. She hits the ball quite short. the balance balls is a parlour trick.

The answer is yes. Remember Nancy Lopez? You could see the start of her backswing, go to the kitchen and make a sandwich, and come back to see the hit.

She is married to ex-Mets player Ray Knight.

I'm unfamilair with Nancy Lopez, dak, and have just been checking her out on youtube.  Good call.  It's funny - her backswing is the exact opposite of what i'm being taught to do!  But it didn't do her any harm.

She sure does have a slow, smooth tempo.  Not disimilar to Ai's, though I think the Asian's backswing is a tad slower?  My teacher has told me to emulate these types of tempos (if not Nancy's backswing path!), and it's working well for me right now.

She sure hit it sweet!
