i've had a similar experience as the previous poster. i did purchase my club through a pro-shop, though, and i returned it through the course. while TM was sending a new club, i used the defective club until the new one came.
if you purchased the club through a retail store, i would suggest taking it back to them.
I cracked a Taylormade driver several years ago that was slightly OUT of warranty. I brought it back to the shop where I bought it, Amd TM replaced it.
It was a complete misunderstanding.. Taylormade replaced the cracked head once we got it straightend out.. I will definitely stay with Taylormade golf in the future..
