Nike 20XI-s golf balls

I found these for $25 a dozen, so I thought I'd give these a whirl. I will start that I haven't played a round with them yet and have just putted and chip a few in the house. My first impression was they just felt hard. It felt like an old top flite. I know feel is subjective but did anyone have the same feeling or someone has played these how do they perform? I will also say that some Titleist Tour Distance felt softer than these.

That is pretty cheap for those balls.  I have never played Nike balls before.  I played Titleist Velocity's that felt really hard to me.  I have read some reviews on the ball and most people find they have great feel and spin.  Maybe they will feel differently to you when hit them at the course.

Yeh I played the tour d. I never upgraded to the 20xi cuz I heard multiple times that ball is alot harder than the tour d

Ya I played the tour D also until I found Callaways tour i(s), honestly I still buy those up anytime I see them.

I reviewed the X model below. I found that they were hard to compress with the irons and lacked feel off the putter. Distance was fine with driver and it stopped fine.

Good review, I bought a dozen of each, I'm nervous to try them, given the S already feel very firm. Off the putter if felt very clanky, and that's with a copper insert putter. As stated above I thought the titleist tour distance felt softer off the putter.

They are hard off the putter and irons. For full swings, I felt they would be good for guys @ 110 mph driver swing speed. I just never felt I could compress the ball the get the most out of it.

Thanks, that SS is definitely not me, I'm about 98-102 driver SS, but ill give them a shot, at worst they will make good start of the season balls, as I tend to lose a few more then.

They will work for sure and I found them to be extremely durable. Much more so than the Pro V line.

I found the 20XI-X to be a little softer than the S. I first tried the S and off the face of my driver and irons, felt a little hard. The X did feel a little softer and I did get better contact and distance, especially with my driver. Off the putter face, it was still a little clanky but somewhat comparable to the Titleist NXT Tours in that regard. I still bag the 20XI-X. I believe they're on sale for 25-30 bucks at Nike outlets if I remember.

I agree with you, I pulled a sleeve of the Xs and they did seem softer.

The guy I play with often plays 20xi-S balls.  He seems to love them.  For me personally I used to play Nike One Tour's for a brief time but went back to ProV's. Just can't seem to find another ball that feels as nice off the club

That's cool, I played 9 holes with the 20XI-X they seemed decent its hard to say as I was in Ohio and was playing mud golf and my swing was all over the place. As for ProVs I've never really cared for them.

I love ProV1s and ProV1Xs...but my amateur swing wont support thier need to be hit properly to reduce side spin...

Lol, I never felt the benefit of a ProV, shoot I stick those tour distances no problem. For someone that can dial into a yard of their distance and control the spin I'm sure a ProV is great but for me, ill play what's on sale.
