Recent troubles with woods

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,

I have been trying to work on my swing again this year and I have been getting decent results from my irons, but woods have been a completely different story. I tend to hit high on the ball with my woods, usually resulting in an ugly ground ball...if not that, then I have an ugly snap-hook that takes off way left and barely gets off the ground. Is there any reason (or number of reasons) that my results from my woods are so different from my irons?

Worm burners are usually caused when you swing and lift up. Try slowing down your swing and concentrate on driving a nail through the back of the ball with your wood.

This will help shallow the strike out and help you hit the ball in the air.  Right now I would assume the weight isn't far enough forward and the handle is too far back.  Good way to practice
