Bridgestone e7

After searching through the threads I couldn't find a recent one reviewing e7 golf balls.  My handicap is slowly climbing and I have some swing issues now.  I'm looking into getting a mid-level ball until I get back in the groove, has anyone played the e7 and if so what is your opinion of it?

Since someone is bound to ask the question, the reason I'm asking about the e7 and none of the other Bridgestone balls is because the e7 was recommended when I used the fitting application on Bridgestone Golfs webpage.

I really wanted to like the bridgestone e series as I had heard such great things about them but I bought a mixed box of recycled e6 and e7 and played them for 2 rounds and was underwhelmed, then I found a DT Solo on the course and fell in love. I guess it all depends on what you like and want but the DT just felt SO much better off the club and seemed to be very forgiving, I completed the back 9 with the same DT Solo after burning through 3 bridgestones on the front.

This could all be coincidence and it was only one round but it sure felt better off of every club including the putter. YMMV.

The cheap balls like Noodles and Solo's do feel better off the club face for me, but I can't work the ball like I can with tour level balls.  I assume I won't be able to work the e7 as well either but I'll sacrifice the workability if I can try to fix my slice I've gained this season.

I was fitted by a Bridgestone fitter at the end of last season. His recommendation was the e7 or One of the B330 series balls. The B330s will give a little more workability than e series will. I got a box of the e7s and have been hooked on them since I put them in play last season. I used to play pro v1s but found that e ball was moving too much left or right on full shots. After switching to the e7 this has been fixed. I have a more consistent ball flight and am hitting more fairways than i was previously. The sacrifice made when switching was a small loss of distance on my drives (not much of a concern because I'm hitting more fairways) and a little feel around the greens. The balls will still bite albeit not as much as a pro v1 or other premium ball will, but after a couple rounds I got use to how they play and have dialed them in on chip shots. For the price, I haven't found anything that beats them. If you want a little more feel I would try the B330 series. If I remember right, the B330-S was the other ball recommended from my fitting. As far as workability. I am still able to hit a draw or fade (or hook) with these balls fairly consistently. I am not great at influencing ball flight like this, so any inconsistencies are usually chalked up to a fault in the swing. Around the greens I am able to work these balls pretty well. Wedge shots will spin and check. I would definitely give them a try.

Buying recycled balls was your first mistake.  They dont perform like new balls because they repaint them.  Buy a dozen new ones and you may like them better.

Recycled or Refinished?  I've never had issues with recycled balls, but I do agree with refinished which are repainted.
