Hello all, haven't posted in a while too much golf and work. Started playing this tourney called myskinsgame its pretty cool and the prize money and structure is pretty good. Basically what scores are eagles and birdies. Low score wins money but not as much as skins. All the guys that play are legit good. I assumed they were all scratch at first. Got paired with a PGA pro Chris Hunsucker. Older gent but could smack the living shit out of the ball. Just perfect iron shots. On number one I was pretty nervous but focused. Long par five with a slight draw. Smacked a driver flush, then hit hybrid to ten feet. Made putt for eagle on first hole! Ha I'm up on cash on the first hole. Then that was it, just boring golf. Pars, bogies, one birdy. Any who, this tourney is really cool and if you're down to play with some good golfers you should try this out. I just try to birdy every hole, and if I bogey or double a hole it don't matter. Hopefully all cities get this going. We're playing for $100,000 and there's only 37 guys playing right now. Ha I probably shouldn't post this but I think it'll be awesome with more people. Sunday golf, one day tourney with playoffs. Sorry for the long post. Hit em straight bitches!

    • Perceptive rules question by caddie unlocks Tour pro’s ‘dead zone’ relief A perceptive rules question by Xander Schauffele’s caddie, Austin Kaiser, unlocked “dead zone” relief during the Wells Fargo Championship.
    • I ran across an interesting new clip, Johnson Wagner went into that spot with the Referee who allowed the relief.  Apparently there was a perfectly reasonable shot to be made, as Johnson clearly demonstrated, so relief from the TIO was perfectly appropriate. https://x.com/PGATOUR/status/1788998655556415994
    • Once again… it's easier to be "consistent" when you're playing against weaker competition. Despite playing against significantly stronger/deeper fields, Jack was nowhere near as dominant as Tiger Woods was. Jack's "consistency" is a lame way of saying "I like Jack and I want to vote for him as GOAT but I can't come up with a real reason why, so I'll just say he was more 'consistent.'" If someone joined the PGA Tour, kinda muddled around for a year or two, then won 16 majors and 75 total PGA Tour events in eight years, then promptly retired… He'd almost surely have my vote for GOAT. Consistency schmonsistency.
    • Maybe not just the 18 & 15 angle though. Jack's consistency over a long period of time is pretty incredible. Kind of mindblowing to look at his total number of Top 5 finishes in the majors.
