So, tomorrow I am going to get a new hybrid, 19-20 degrees of loft. I don't know whether I should get the Adams Idea Pro, or the Titleist 585.H. I want something with some workability, a little forgiveness, and no offset. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

3 Wood: r7 draw
5 Wood: F-SpeedHybrid: a3 boxerIrons: Ignite 4-PWWedges: 53 Phil Rogers, vokey 56, 588 60Putter: Victoria or Puku belly

I'm was feeling the same way. I ended up getting the Titleist 585. I haven't received it yet, but looking forward to putting it in play. The main reason I went with the Titleist is because I've been very satisfied with all of my Titleist clubs.

I'm just curious: given your handicap, as well as the clubs already in your bag, why do you think you would do better with a club such as the 585.H than a Cobra Baffler DWS or a Callaway Heavenwood or X Hybrid? Have tried the 585.H or the Adams Pro, or any of the others I've mentioned? If you hit the Titleist or Adams clubs well, more power to you, but I'm just wondering if you've compared them to some somewhat easier to hit hybrids.

i went to purchase a hybrid this spring, my choices were those same two clubs. i ended up taking home the titleist. the reason i took the titleist is, they didn't have the adams in stock that day. i have not regretted taking the titleist. great club. and i use it alot more than i thought i would.

I have had a lot of success with my Sonartec hybrid. I replaced my 3 iron for my 200yd club and it has been awesome. When teeing it up on par 3's I get close to the same results than i did with my 3i but it flies a little higher. But let me tell you, out of the rough I am able to hit greens where it just wasnt possible almost at all with the 3i. The Sonartec is very consistent off the fairways and I have had it in the bag ever since..

I got the clubs that I have at the beginning of the year, when I was about a 30 handicap. I have taken lessons, and worked very hard, so now I am significantly less. I don't need much forgiveness, as they usually go very straight, but I want some workability to escape any trouble I might find myself in. The main thing is my putting, but I have a belly putter coming, so that will help, and I might be able to get down to a ten or so by the end of the fall.

So which club did you end up buying? With my index right around 18 now, I'm curious to hear what you thought of the Idea Pro if you got to try it out.

    • If you watch the video/s of ‘Tiger’s greatest shots’ it’s undeniably clear that Tiger is far superior than any golfer that’s ever played. The helicopter follow through shot from the bunker, the second at Pebble Beach where he cut the uphill corner and made it to the green and so many others. Jack simply could’ve never hit those shots.  Hell at the Skins Match around the  90’s with Jack, Tiger and Mark O’Meara Tiger hits a shot and Jack says, ‘ Man that kid can really hit that ball.’ O’Meara says ‘ He’s (22), he supposed to hit it like that.’ Jack then says, ‘ Well, we never hit it like that when we were that age .’ Tiger’s the GOAT. By far.

    • Why should SuperSpeed get 3x of Stack's profits? I get the part about SuperSpeed wanting damages sustained as a result of Stack, but I don't get why SuperSpeed feels that they're entitled to both Stack's profits and damages.   Does anyone know/think SuperSpeed actually has a case here?

Stack System’s marketing materials inflate apparent swing speed and distance gains through selective presentment of data without qualification that purported gains are not the result, in whole or part, of its training protocol and products. * Yes, I'm joking about abbreviating both "SS." SuperSpeed wants: A judgment that the Stack System has disseminated false and/or misleading information in violation of federal and Illinois law. The deletion of all false advertising distributed and recall of all packaging containing false advertising and a requirement that Stack System issue notices (written or otherwise) to that effect to all current distributors and retailers of its products and all distributors with whom Stack System has done business in the past eighteen months. Written confirmation within 30 days of an injunction detailing the manner and form in which Stack System has complied. An order that Stack System disseminate corrective advertising informing consumers, the trade, and the public of Stack System’s unlawful conduct. 3X all profits received by Stack System as a result of its unlawful actions. 3X all damages sustained by SuperSpeed (as a result of Stack System’s actions) The cost of the action All reasonable attorney fees All other relief to which SuperSpeed are entitled and such other or additional relief as just and proper. Oy.
