I just recently retired, not having played in the past 20 years due to work location, I decided to take up the game hence retiring and the old blade clubs once used be replaced with some update clubs.

Went to my local Drummond golf outlet and was fitted for a new set, mainly Titleist, 915D2,915F fairway,915 hybrid 19deg,22deg,714 AP1 5-W, Cleveland 588 CB 2.0 wedges 48deg,52,deg and a Rife Bimini Island series Putter ( old school style, like the King used) . The thing that has impressed me is the performance of the new generation clubs, e.g. length of the woods and hybrids and the accuracy of the irons. I originally thought it take some months to get back to hitting descent shots but with the advancement in equipment was surprised and getting back to a reasonable handicap in a short time. Tried three different brands balls found them much the same. looking back to the late eighties and mid nineties the equipment of then dose not have a patch on the late model equipment of now. Hopeful a good think and I get back to my 1990 handicap then (9). Recommend if you looking to play good golf revaluate your equipment in hand.

Titleist 915 D2-10.5°, Titleist 915 F 15°, PING G25 16.5°, PING G30 Hybrid 19°
PING G25 4-W, Cleveland RTX 588 Rotex 2.0 48°/52°
Rife Bimini Island Series Putter, PING DLX Bag
Sureshot Rangefinder, PING Sensor Glove, Srixon Q star Balls.
