Teed of on 17 today, a 435 yard dogleg left par 4. Skied my drive big time, had 225 left for my second. Looked at my playing partners and joked, "Guys, I'm gonna get home in two from here"; mind you, it's a par 4, they laughed their asses off.

I took out my 3 wood, hit a low, burning draw that hit about 20 yards short of the green and rolled up to about 15 feet.

After that second, I just knew the putt was going in. Wasn't too difficult, 2-3 balls out left up the hill, and sure enough, I rolled it dead square in the middle of the hole for 3.

How's that for a birdie? Terrier ?

I have some corrections:

It probably was more like 235; playing 240 into the wind (and getting cold). And I believe the quote was: "I'm going for this par 4 in two." We burst out laughing on that one. And he STIFFED it.

Guys, that's gorgeous. I love these sort of jokes! It's the total opposite of what happened to me once.

Horst is funny and has a deadpan sort of humor if you ever met him in person.

He rips on me for being a Titliest snob. I rip on him for being a Mizuno suckface. It balances out because our shared best friends are 1) a ping dude that bombs it and comes in 5 over; and 2) a mini-tour guy that bombs it and shots under par. Somebody on this forum questioned/asked that crazy_horst was jealous that he didn't hit it that far? LMFAO Crazy knows some mini tour guy that hits it 320 at sea level in his sleep.
