I ran into this looking at social media feed for The Masters. You send them an image of the design you want, multiple colors allowed, and I guess it makes the best version of it for a golf ball and sends it to the machine to draw it. Buy by the box of pre-selected brands, like Titleist Pro VI, etc...

They may be on to something but I believe the shipping cost would be detrimental to longevity.
