Hi guys I'm new to this forum, I just need some clarification on the rules of a 3 man team entering a 4 man Texas scramble is this something that's allowed because in my view 4 man means 4 man

Thanks

I’m sure that’s tournament dependent.   I have played in a 3 man team in a 4 man scramble tournament. Fourth guy had a last minute emergency and couldn’t make it. We weren’t disqualified or anything. Heck, more often than not it’s a clear disadvantage to not have a fourth guy as thats mess opportunity for someone to hit a better shot. It’s up the the tournament officials I guess as they may have other reasons to not allow it.
