Thanks for taking the time to reply JGus. 

I agree that coming from a very inside-takeaway-deep-behind-me swing I had a similar problem with elbow and I did also notice that it would literally force my trail hand to slip&regrip because my body was hitting a hard limit.. And then I'd get to impact with a club face 45 freaking degrees closed!

I'm surprised I don't hit that many shanks though. fingers crossed they stay away. For both of us.

Keep swinging!

Wow. I have the same problem. 6 cap. Club closing 45 degrees on impact. Some times not even impact! Prone to shanks. Driver and woods okay. Glove wearing out on thumb and heel pad. Will try keeping right elbow in and slow takeaway. 🤞🏻
