MM Proto and the vapor pro are the same thing.  One is just the proto version.  They're typically worth more I suppose, but hard to tell.  Could be just a vapor pro that's been debadged.  People do colorfills and stuff all the time.

Use google; like you just did.

Or ask your buddy.

We'll, thanks for the input, just haven't seen anything quite like it before. I originally thought debadged vapor pro myself, but the engraved swoosh had me stumped. They're in great shape, and under $300, so I can't imagine he'll have them long!

@CBWedgeWorksHow can you not have seen anything quite like that before and originally think they were debadged vapor pros?  That makes no sense, completely contradictory.

Further, the engraved swoosh?  You're seeing things I'm not.
