Years ago this course was referred to as Armco I do believe. I haven't played it for years. It's not cheap to play, but I found it worh the money. It is not flat either, nor is it short. At my age and hitting from the regular tees I find myself pulling out the 5 wood more often then a short iron.Greens can be quite fast, and some of the placements can be more than a challenge. If you don't mind seeing your scores rise a bit, but you are more up to a challenge give this a try. I think you will be happy you did...

  • iacas changed the title to Oakview Golf Course (Slippery Rock, PA)

Interesting. A couple years ago a buddy and I decided to go play Blackhawk GC near Beaver Falls. I hadn't played there in ages and had forgotten much of the course. When we went back out there, what I couldn't believe is that I used to walk the place! I had to be part mountain goat, the place is so hilly!

You'd better be good at playing from uneven lies to play these courses well!
