Titleist 718 AP3 or TM 2017 P790s

Looking at getting one of these to iron sets..I have hit them both to similar results but any info would be helpful

Did you hit them during a fitting or just demoed them?

Hit them on a monitor at golf galaxy ..just the 7 irions and all they had were reg shafts while i play a stiff

So in other words you have no idea how they'll actually perform for you? I recommend going to a good fitter. These sets might not even be the best for you.

I hit them both during my fitting and they weren't for me.

Not sure how many fitters are going to be stocking 2017 P790s or AP3s at this point.

Golf galaxy had all my #s did my lie and compared the 2 against each other.. Yes i didnt try anything but the stock shafts not many places here to get fitted unless maybe a private course then they will sell the brand they have.. GG and Dicks only really places that have clubs and GG only one with new stuff

I'm biased.

I like the AP3's....even more so than the T200's.....I like the looks and thin top line of the AP3's.

I've hit the AP3's at a demo day...I liked them....forgiving too...definitely irons I could game.

IMO....I think the P790's look too much like shovels...but they receive a lot of good/great reviews.

I like the TM 760's...the player's version on the P790's.
