    • Plenty. Of course my handicap has a "+" in it.

    • Something. Ball fitting is not just manufacturers trying to squeeze desperate golfers after all.

I've had 2 old fashion fittings in my lifetime. Old fashion meaning no monitors or high tech equipment. Basic measurements and a pro watching me hit various clubs on the range. Both pros were at my club and very familiar with my swing. Both recommended standard lofts and lies. As I have aged I moved from stiff to regular shafts on my own. I'm sure it would behove me to get a proper fitting as things change over time but no head pro any longer where I play. I could drive a good distance to get it done but I have been satisfied how my equipment has performed over the years and how it performs today.

    • This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.

    • Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.
