Well, the first leg of the Triple Crown this year is not the Kentucky Derby (there goes my mint julep this weekend) but instead is the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.

There's a horse in the field we all have to pull for.  Fore Left.  How can you not bet on that horse?

I went to the Derby in 1983. We were in the infield. All we could see was the jockey and horses heads as they raced around. Fun time though.

People in the infield back then didn’t wear hats. Or much of anything else either.
