Does anyone know who makes the Ben Hogan Apex shaft? I know for the most part that most companies only make the heads and commission other people like TT and Golf Pride to make the shafts and grips.

Also as part 2: what is the major difference between Dynamic Gold and Project X shafts? I know that the PX's are $20 more a pop more and that they'll never be in my bag anytime soon.

I did dig a tad deeper, and all I could find is that they use "Apex" shafts. So, sorry for the too quick reply to your original question. If I had to guess, I would say that they are Dynamic Gold shafts. But that is purely a guess.

An old pro told me those shafts were a special build from Rifle made for Hogan. He says the closest thing to them is Nippons.
