I was watching Phil putt. He seems like he plays with slight open stance almost like a chipping position but ball forward. Could anyone verify this? Tks.

I agree.

In fact, my brother does exactly the same thing, but he's right handed. My brothers putting stance is almost 45 degrees open to target. not sure how he does it > he plays off 12 index

I wish I had David Pelz Number

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

I wish I had David Pelz Number

why? Pelz gives Phil no instruction on his putting. Pelz preaches the SBST method while Phill putts on an arc.

ive always thought that Phil is a great Hollywood putter but doesn't make the clutch putts when he really has to- thats one of the reasons why he hasn't properly challenged the Tiger cub.

That putt to win his first major was pretty good... 20 foot birdie to win the masters has to be considered clutch.

Just because Tiger does it every other round doesn't mean all of a sudden nobody else is any good at putting.

I walk 18 I agree. But that said Phill allways has problems on Bermuda greens and I do not know why. Then again neither does he so it might just be a lefthanded thing.
