heading to the mall of america tomorrow, and it will suck because my mom and sister shop ALL DAY! and stores that sell golf clubs, gloves, balls, or shoes??

Theres a big store there, Can't remember what it is called. But has a small golf section. Its almost like a Dicks Sporting goods. It offers alot of Taylormade and Titleist. If your just looking for balls and gloves its a good shop.


Just a heads up, Mall of America is really really boring. I suggest going to the "Silicon Motor Speedway"

Its a nascar simulation which is awsome!!!

The only big sporting goods store is closed down now I believe...

Us golf fans are shit out of luck I'm afraid.

That mall sucks anyways... I HIGHLY recommend going 10 miles down the road to the Eden Prairie mall... 1000x better mall in my opinion (sweet movie theater there too...)

About five minutes from the MOA is a Golf Galaxy. You can spend some quality time there while your mom and sister shop.

I was at the Mall of America 10 years ago for a conference. I think I spent one day wandering around just kind of checking the place out. When I went back the next day I spent most of the time in the sporting goods store. They had a half court basketball hoop set up. I also remember hitting balls in their cage. Too bad if that is closed now. The only other good parts of the mall were the bars and the movie theater. I remember one of the bars, I think it was called Gators, had girls at the beer tubs dressed in bikinis. That alone made the trip worthwhile.

the mall was really borin, i'm actually still in Minnesota. but i did the nascar simulator (finished last and second to last) and i went down to golfsmith and dicks and golf galaxy. got some callaway shoes, a cobra hat, and snakeeye glove. at the mall i got 2 shorts at my least favorite store, american eagle. i got a wallet. i got a bunch of cool shorts and shirts at nordstrom rack. not ever going back again

      I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙

      Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
