Unfortunately, your question is somewhat vague as the answer should be (and as you can see from some of the posts) extremely tailored to your current swing problems. You can also tell that the amateur golfer struggles with a proper practice routine. Most amateur golfers don't "practice correctly" so their improvement is slow if it happens at all. I have struggled with creating the proper practice routine myself and this coupled with not having more time to practice, I have found that I am rather stuck at this certain level or have plateaued. I have been purchasing some training aids (alignment sticks and lessons) to help cure this particular flaw in my golf preparation over the winter. My plan in the spring is to put in place a proper practice routine. Hopefully it will have to be tweaked once I have a few lessons and start to make good on the things that I am practicing.

My suggestion to you is the same...take some lessons and have the pro make up a practice routine for you. I am sure you will find your practice time more efficient and effective...I hope mine is.
