Anyone else played here?   I’ve wanted to come here since the late 90s, and I’m on the first family vacation where I’ve brought my golf clubs.   I’ve only played one of the courses, but really liked it.  Oleander.   Jekyll is an island off the Georgia coast, pretty far south.  They have 3, 18 hole courses, and a 9 hole.   The 3 18 hole courses all meet at the same clubhouse from what I’ve seen so far.

bump!

Looks like we're headed there in March

I think you'll like it.    I thought all three courses were pretty similar, but all were enjoyable.   If you are staying on the island, stock up on things like booze or food you like, there is only one place on the island, outside of restaurants, that you can get stuff.

I don't know about the golf courses that you usually play, but my home course is tight and you can run out of room real fast on almost every hole.   Jekyll Island courses were like swinging freely.

I've booked tee times Oleander and Indian Mound at Jekyll Island.   I've also booked tee times Sea Palms and the King and Prince courses.   The 9 hole course at Jekyll Island is a walk on but I'll probably play it at least once.
