Tiger DVDs

I spent large chunks of yesterday watching the Tiger Woods DVD set. I picked them up from Target for - I'm not sure how - $19.99 and they came with a sleeve of Nike ONEs (the gold ones, not sure I'll want to use them, isn't gold the high-spin version?).

Aaaaaaanyway, the DVDs are great. They're put together well. They provide insight and some new stories along with a ton of great imagery. Bonus features count down Tiger's favorite courses, holes, and best shots.

They're current (they go through the 2004 PGA) and they're spectacular. I think Tiger's competition had better not watch the DVDs, because combined with the awesome display of golf skill you see in these, and the display he's put on towards the very end of 2004, they may just psyche themselves out!

Jack Nicklaus even manages to not come across as a total snob! Wowee!

You're a lucky guy, that's an incredible price, they're $40 at my Target. I've been waiting to hear if they were any good before picking one up. Looks like I'm going to have to go grab one tomorrow.

Well, I didn't get the DVDs or the PS2 game like I was hoping. The wife has said that I pick up the DVDs soon, though. But I'll tell ya, they are nowhere near $19.99 at Target, Wal-Mart or anywhere else, even on sale.

I saw something on TGC last night that I thought might have been an airing of the DVD footage. It was constant Tiger highlights from over the years. Very interesting, but I only peeked in every few minutes.

February 2, 3, and 4 if memory served. It looked very much like the DVDs, yes. And it's on three nights. Hmmm...
