Driver swing speed = 108

Im interested in changing iron shafts( DG S300). My dispersion is tight but I’m hoping to add a club distance. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried Project X LZ and the hook crept in.

I assume the weight and stability of the DG S300 gives me the tight dispersion ?

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably, but the proper shaft fit depends on a lot of things.

Have you done a fitting recently?

DG 120 S300 or X100?  A tad lighter than the standard DG, supposedly same flight profile, lighter could translate to faster.  Maybe an option to check out.

This matters a bit less than you think.

how you pull on the club in transition and how you deliver the club at impact matter more. You have some players who have very slow, fluid looking swings but have the same swing speed as someone who has an aggressive swing.

Sometimes lighter golf clubs do not mean you swing faster. Pending how you feel the club in the swing you could swing slower with a lighter club.

Go get fitted. See what works for you.

I went to modus 120 stiff from a s300. The handle is ultra soft but the smoothest iron shaft i have ever owned. Maybe gained a yard or two at most but gained alot in feel.

    • Miss at the moment is a big heel strike off the driver. Irons appear to be fine at the moment, miss with those is a big push. My grip deffo needs to continue to be worked on. Something Else I also noticed by watching my swing over and over and watching Pro's setup I have noticed that I place my left foot fine, but then when I place my right foot out into position I move my whole body doing so, also moving my centre line and left shoulder back, creating a kind of Eiffel tower base looking effect with my legs, both shoulders are equal distance from the instep of my feet. when I look at most pro setups, their lead shoulder is inline with their lead foot instep, and their trial shoulder has a much bigger gap between the instep of the trail foot. This leads them to look more straight up and down on their lead side and more right knee kicked in on their trail side. if that makes sense AT ALL. I tried this at the range last night, setting up my left foot and then moving my right foot without the body, and the strike was way way better and consistent, turn felt better etc, didnt video it, but something I will likely stick with
